How to distribute Xoxo points?

Xoxo points can be used by HR heads or CXO’s of a company to distribute in order to reward and incentivize their employees, stakeholders or channel partners. Distributed points can be used by the recipients on Plum Stores Platform.

  • Xoxo Points is the main unit of rewarding. It is at the core of all transactions. All Catalog Prices & Rewarding will be done based on these Points.
  • Conversion Value of Points is equivalent to Base Currency selected during Signup. So if USD is selected as the base currency, 1 Point = 1 USD and if EUR is selected as base currency, 1 EUR = 1 Point.
  • Xoxo Points are instantly Transferred to a User account. The email Id of the recipient is the unique identifier.
  • The points have an expiry of 1 year from date of issue.
  • Points are accumulated in user account and they can redeem them in single or multiple transactions, irrespective of how the reward is received. The System takes care to consume the oldest points first to make sure points are used up optimally.
  • Xoxo points can be created by Super Admin and Admins under the threshold set for each Admin.
  • Xoxo points can be used by the employees, stakeholders, channel partners etc. who have received Xoxo points as a reward.

There are 3 ways to send Xoxo Points to User. (Through bulk upload, through API, Individual Distribution)

Individual Distribution

The fastest method to distribute points to a handful of users.

  • Go to Xoxo Points under the main menu.
  • Enter the Name, email ID, No. of Points to be Given, mobile number.
  • You can mention the citation to tell the user what these points are for. Like Long Service, Birthday, Work Anniversary etc.
  • Once you fill-up the details of all users, you can proceed to give points
  • User must be registered on Plum to be able to receive points. In case a user is not registered, a link is shared with the user to register.
  • Amount will be deducted from existing Company Balance. In case you don't have enough Company balance, you will be issued a warning where you can decide to proceed with the recharge or remove a few entries to complete the rewarding procedure.
  • Clicking 'Send' will instantly send the reward to user linked account via e-mail.


A user is linked to a single business account. If a user is already registered with another company account, the distribution of points isn't successful.

Bulk Distribution

If you wish to reward a large set of recipients, Use the Bulk Upload option available.
